Pabna Jubo Dal leader chopped to death

A local leader of Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal, the youth front of the BNP, was chopped to death by unknown miscreants in Bera in Pabna district on Monday morning. The dead is Manik Miah, 45, president of Jubo Dal Rooppur union unit under Pabna’s Bera upazila. Rois Uddin, BNP’s general secretary of Bera upazila unit, confirmed that Manik Miah was hacked to death in the morning. A gang of miscreants, whom the local people suspected to be robbers, swooped on Manik Miah around 2:00am. The criminals chopped Manik Miah indiscriminately with sharp weapons as he tried to resist them, leaving him dead on the spot, according to private TV channels.
