Pabna Jubo League leader chopped dead

Unidentified miscreants chopped to death a local leader of Jubo League at Ratanpur village at Bhulbaria union at Ataikula upazila in Pabna early Sunday. The dead is Masum Billah, alias Baki Billah, president of Ward 9 of Bhulbaria union Jubo League under Santhia Upazila. Ataikula police said a gang of miscreants entered the house of Billah by breaking open the door and hacked him to death around 1:00am. Police recovered the body Sunday morning and sent it to Pabna Medical College Hospital for autopsy. The motif of the murder could not be known, according to a news agency.
