Pabna outlaw held with firearm

Our Correspondent PABNA, Nov 3: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an alleged top leader of an outlawed party with a firearm at village Bilbhiduri in Pabna s adar upazila of Pabna on Thursday. The arrestee is identified as Shimul Hossain, 30, of the village Bilbhiduri. Sources said that 10-15 members of an outlawed group were holding a clandestine meeting at the village. A team of the elite forces raided the area and arrested a man named Shimul with a firearm at his house. Other associates of Shimul managed to flee. According to the RAB official, they carried out different crimes, including robberies and mugging in the district.
