Packaging industries threatened to incur losses

Business leaders told a meeting Sunday that all packaging industries will incur great losses if the 'Compulsory Use of Jute for Packaging Goods Bill-2010' is executed.
The parliamentary standing committee on textiles and jute ministry organised the meeting under the initiative of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) in Sangsad Bhaban.
Textiles and Jute Minster Abdul Latif Siddiqui was also present at the meeting, an FBCCI press release said Monday.
