Paddy crushing machines distributed among farmers

JOYPURHAT, Apr 10: Four powerful paddy crushing machines were distributed free among ultra-poor farmers in Sadar Upazila by World Vision Joypurhat ADP Thursday in the district. In a machine giving ceremony Abul Kalam Azad deputy director of Joypurhat Agriculture Extension Department distributed four machines as the chief guest while Michael Gomes ADP manager presided over the function. Among others Motiur Bahaman Upazila agriculture officer, Kazol Kumar Day, Program co-ordinator of Livelihood Security Project spoke at the function. The speakers said that to change the financial condition of the ultra-poor farmers these machines were given by World Vision. With the machines the poor farmers will be benefited by giving those on rent which can change their life.
