Paddy seedlings distributed among farmers

SHARIATPUR, Oct 10 (UNB): Sadar Upazila Department of Agriculture Extension Thursday distributed seedlings of BR-23 (Dishari) variety paddy free among 62 farmers, who were affected by the recent flood.
Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Anisur Rahman attended as chief guest at the distribution ceremony at upazila DAE office.
According to agriculture officials, crops and seedbeds on 192 hectares of land were damaged by the flood.
