Padma Bridge by 2018

It is glad to hear the assurance from the prime minister that her government would complete the proposed Padma Bridge by 2018. We are confident the prime minister would be able to fulfil her promise as Padma Bridge has remained always in controversy during the previous tenure of the present government. It still remains a burning issue.
The Padma Bridge is very important for the people of the country and its economy. Once it is complete the face of our economy will get changed. We should not play politics with this vital national issue and everyone should come forward and help the government to complete it.
The bridge was in the election manifesto of the present government in 2008 and they failed to fulfil it as they refused to cooperate earnestly with the World Bank on the alleged bribe scandal. Now the Padma Project is a big challenge for the government and I hope it will successfully overcome it.
