The work order for construction of Padma bridge will be issued before due date, the communications minister has said. Obaidul Quader told reporters at Munishiganj on Friday that the work order could be issued in the first week of June. China Major Bridge Engineering Company was likely to get the contract provided its proposal did not clash with national interests, he said, according to bdnews24.com.
