Padma mudslide kills two in C\\\'nawabganj

CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Apr 19 (UNB): Two young men were killed as a chunk of mud from the bank of the Padma River collapsed at Bahalbari Ghat in Shibpur upazila early Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Serajul Islam,40, son of Nurshed Ali, and Khudu Ali,35, son of Tofazzol, both residents of Babupur village of the same upazila.
Witnesses said Serajul and Khudu got trapped under the soil of the bank when they went there to collect sand bags at about 5:00 am that left the duo dead on the spot.
Later, locals pulled out the bodies from the soil and informed police.
