Pak exports grow by 44.78pc in 4 months

ISLAMABAD, Nov 26 (APP): Exports from Pakistan during the first quarter of the current financial year witnessed increase of 44.78 per cent as against the same period of last financial year.
Exports during July October 2008 totalled Rs.508,386 million against Rs.351,146 million during July October 2007, according Federal Bureau of Statistics.
Exports during October 2008 were increased by 46.13 per cent when compared to the exports of the same month of last financial year. Exports during October 2008 were recorded at Rs.122,206 million as against Rs.83,626 million recorded in the same month of last financial year.
