Pakistan cricket chief visits Dhaka

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Shaharyar M. Khan visited Dhaka Monday and met high-ups from the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). The PCB chief’s visit to Dhaka is part of his marathon tour which starts with his visit to India on October 3 followed by Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. The PCB supremo’s visit to Dhaka will emphasise on the hosting of a 50-over tri-nation series ahead of the ICC 2015 World Cup. Shahryar’s visit is also likely to improve the relations between the two nations and enhance the prospects of Pakistani cricketers featuring in the domestic cricket tournaments in Bangladesh, according to private TV channels.
