Pakistan High Commissioner calls on DU VC

High Commissioner of Pakistan in Bangladesh Ashraf Qureshi Thursday called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice- Chancellor Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique at the latter's office in the city, said a press release.
He was accompanied by deputy high commissioner of Pakistan Afzaal Mahmood.
During the meeting, they discussed matters of mutual interest especially the possibilities to enhance collaborative academic programmes and exchange of students between Dhaka University and universities in Pakistan. Possibilities of awarding scholarships to Dhaka University students were also discussed.
Arefin Siddique apprised the Pakistan high commissioner and deputy high commissioner of academic programmes of DU.
He also thanked the Pakistani diplomats for their visit and keen interest shown in establishing academic cooperation with Dhaka University.
