Pakistan opener Butt hospitalised

KARACHI, Oct 2 (AFP): Pakistani cricket vice captain Salman Butt was admitted to hospital Tuesday with stomach pains on the second day of the first Test against South Africa, officials said.
"Butt had severe pain in his stomach and we took him to hospital at around 3:00 am," Pakistan team manager Talat Ali told reporters, adding that doctors thought he had gastroenteritis.
