Pakistan, West Indies in Women World Cup qualifying final

Pakistan and West Indies moved into the final of the Women's World Cup Cricket qualifier as they defeated their respective rivals South Africa and Sri Lanka in the two semifinals played at different venues Thursday, reports BSS
In a difficult run chase, Pakistan from a precarious position came back strongly to beat the fancied South Africa by three- wicket at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur while title aspirants West Indies outplayed Sri Lanka by 58 runs at the Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah.
The final match of this competition between West Indies and Pakistan will be played tomorrow (Saturday) at Sher-e- Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
All the four semifinalists of the qualifying round-South Africa, West Indies, Pakistan and Sri Lanka earlier confirmed their seat in the eight-team final round of the Women's World Cup to be held in India alongside defending champions England, Australia, New Zealand and host Bangladesh.
In another play-off semifinal, Ireland kept their ODI status intact beating Netherlands by four wickets at the BKSP ground-3.
