Pakundia businessmen urged to bank with Exim Bank

The businessmen of Pakundia in Kishoreganj have been urged to bank with Exim Bank Pakundia branch.
Managing Director of the bank Dr Mohammed Haider Ali Miah made the appeal while delivering his presidential address at a function at Pakundia in Kishoreganj Thursday, said a press release
The function was organised on the occasion of inauguration of the 96th branch of the bank at Pakundia in Kishoreganj.
In his address, the managing director also highlighted the bold financial stability of the bank and its deposit and investment products.
He also highlighted the international achievement of the bank.
Member of the Parliament from Kishoreganj-2 constituency Advocate Md Sohrab Uddin was present at the inaugural function as the chief guest and inaugurated the branch.
Executive Director (ED) of Bangladesh Bank (BB) M Mahfuzur Rahman, UNO of Pakundia Mosharraf Hossain Khan and Mayor of Pakundia Municipality Advocate Md Jalal Uddin were present at the function as the special guests.
In his address, the chief guest lauded the role of Exim Bank saying that the bank has already set a strong position in banking sector in the country.
He also urged the bank management to work for business expansion of Pakundia.
Speaking on the occasion, the BB ED praised the bank for its corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities.
Mentioning Pakundia as an agricultural zone, he advised the bank management to invest in the area's agriculture sector.
