The Palestinian students in Dhaka Tuesday strongly protested the Israeli air strike in Gaza strip killing hundreds of innocent people, reports UNB.
Joined by students from Africa and other Muslim countries they paraded through the Dhaka University (DU) campus chanting slogan: ‘Down with Israel'.
The procession demanded immediate stop to the air strikes on the Palestinian.
The demonstrators expressed the hope the newly elected government of Bangladesh would raise its voice in the international forum against the atrocities committed by Israel.
A Palestine student of the DU, Shalim Hosny, who lost his two-cousins in the Israeli action, expressed concern at the silence of the world community over the massacre.
