Palli Sanchay Bank launches safe food loan

The Palli Sanchay Bank has launched an exceptional loan program titled "Safe Food Sound Life".
Under the programme the bank will provide loans at minimum service charges to produce safe food. The bank will sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with an organisation engaged in safe food production, processing and marketing to supply seeds, safe pesticides, safe fertilizers and all auxiliary products and providing training to the farmers on how to use them.
To ensure that the farmer gets the fair price, this organisation will purchase the foods produced by the members of Gram Unnayan Samitee with the financing of the PSB, through which the borrower members will benefit by paying off the loan.
Managing Director of PSB Khondoker Ataur Rahman launched the programme by distributing loans to the members of the Kaladah Gram Unnayan Samitee.
