Paribesh Parishad meets today on DUCSU election

The Dhaka University (DU) authorities will hold a meeting of the Paribesh Parishad on the long-awaited Dhaka University Central Students' Union (DUCSU) and Hall Union elections today (Monday) at Abdul Matin Virtual Classroom, adjacent to the vice-chancellor's residence.
The meeting to be held from 11am will discuss the important issues like amendment to the DUCSU constitution and the code of conduct for the elections.
Proctor Dr AKM Golam Rabbani said, "We have sent letter to the authorities and all the student organisations which belong to the Paribesh Parishad."
Pro-vice chancellors, treasurer, provosts of the residential halls and presidents and general secretaries of the central and DU unit of all active political student organisations will attend the meeting to be chaired by Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman.
Paribesh Parishad is a platform comprised of the university authorities and the active student organisations working on the campus.
Earlier, the Vice Chancellor called a view-exchange meeting over DUCSU and Hall Union elections with all the members of Dhaka University Journalists' Association (DUJA) at his residence yesterday (Sunday) at 9pm.
