FARIDPUR, May 24, (BSS): The sufferings of the hundreds of passengers of ten districts of South Western part of the country have been mounting since May 20 as the communication with the capital remain suspended following arrest of two bus workers of Sohag Paribahan by Faridpur police.
It may be mentioned here that a bus dacoity was committed on last Tuesday (May 19) night on Dhaka-Khulna highway under Madhukhali upazilla in a Benapole bound passenger coach from capital's Gabtoli terminal.
The passengers of the coach complained to Madhkhali police that the staff of the coach had connections with the dacoits because they did not try to resist the thugs during looting of the belongings of the passenger rather they helped the dacoits to make their good escape after the commission of crime.
Police on complaint of the passengers arrested driver Ainal and helper Shakil and forwarded them to the court who are still in custody.
