A passenger has been stabbed to death at Dewanganj in Jamalpur and a body of a auto-rickshaw driver was recovered from the Ghatchilan area of Lalpur upazila in Natore district on Sunday, report agencies.
bdnews24.com reports from Jamalpur, a passenger has been stabbed to death in Jamalpur's Dewanganj after he protested the beating of an auto-rickshaw driver.
The murder took place near the Jillbangla Sugar Mill in Dewanganj on Sunday, said Mohabbat Kabir, chief of Dewanganj Model Police Station.
The passenger, Md Sohan, 22, was a native of Char Vabsur Purbopara village. He worked at the Bangladesh Agriculture Development Corporation.
UNB says from Natore, police have recovered the body of a auto-rickshaw driver from the Ghatchilan area of Lalpur upazila in Natore district.
The deceased was identified as Milon Hossain, 30, of Mahishbhanga of Boraigram upazila.
