Past, present envoys of India, Bangladesh meet at Dhaka Friday

Past and present high commissioners of India and Bangladesh are going to convene in a summit Friday at Dhaka University.
The Department of International Relations of Dhaka University is co-hosting this first-of-its-kind event with the India Bangladesh Foundation styled ‘India-Bangladesh High Commissioners’ Summit’.
Organisers say they will share their “mutual experiences and deliberate on the current state of India-Bangladesh relations”.
Prof Imtiaz Ahmed, project coordinator of the international relations department, told bdnews24.com that they had tried to bring all post-1971 envoys.
“It’ll be an academically open discussion. All will share their experiences,” he said, according to a news agency.
