Patient commits suicide jumping off DMCH

A female patient allegedly committed suicide jumping off the 4th floor of the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) Saturday noon, reports UNB.
The deceased was identified as Jayeda Begum, 22, wife of Selim Miah, a resident of Somdeshpur village in Faridganj Upazila of Chandpur district.
The deceased's father Ruhul Amin Bepari said Jayeda gave birth to a child in the hospital seven days ago and then fell sick.
Witnesses said she jumped off the 4th floor of the hospital building.
Rescued by the security guard, she was rushed to the emergency unit of the hospital where doctors declared her dead.
