Patuakhali-1 MP Shahjahan Mia passes away

Member of Parliament for Patuakhali-1 constituency, former state minister for Religious Affairs and Patuakhali district unit Awami League president Advocate Shahjahan Mia passed away at around 6 am on Saturday at a hospital in the city.
He was 83. He had been suffering from various old age complications for a long time.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Saturday expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Md Shahjahan Miah.
