Pay salary, bonus of workers by Ramadan 20

Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon said Saturday not only enactment of law but also mass awareness and people resistance are needed to make the country's food free from adulteration, reports BSS.
The minister was addressing a rally organised by the Dhaka city unit of Workers' Party in front of the Jatiya Press Club in the city.
Menon, also Workers' Party Chief, urged the factory and apparels industries owners across the country to pay salary, allowance and bonus of the workers by Ramadan 20.
He sought cooperation from the owners and different organisations' leaders, including Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) and Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters' Association (BKMEA) in this regard.
Menon said syndicates by some unscrupulous traders jeopardising different good initiatives of the government.
With Dhaka city unit president of the party Abul Hossain in the chair, the rally was addressed, among others, by central leader Amirul Haq Amin, Mostafa Alamgir Ratan, Advocate Jobayda Parvin and labour leader Mozammel Haq.
