PBCP operative killed in Pabna

Our Correspondent PABNA, Dec 14: An operative of Purba Banglar Communist Party (PBCP Bahini) was hacked and burnt at Balughata beel area in Faridpur upazila of Pabna. The deceased was identified as Abdur Rahim (38) of village Peer-Balighata in Ataikula police station in Pabna sadar upazila. Police claimed that Rahim was an operative of outlawed PBCP Bahini faction and a listed criminal. Officer-in-charge of Faridpur police station Abdul Hamid said that the locals found the body and informed police Wednesday. Police rushed to the spot and recovered the body and sent it to Pabna Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy. The killers burnt the body and dumped it on the spot, OC said. Victim's brother identified the body.
