PBL Foundation support for poor cataract patients

Apart from its commercial banking operations, Prime Bank Ltd (PBL) Foundation has been playing a pivotal role in the society as part of its CSR activities.
Aligning with its long-term aim and to commemorate the 12th anniversary of the bank, the Foundation has been providing total costs for cataract surgeries of 1200 poor cataract patients under the project 'Drishty Daan'.
Some 540 patients have already been operated successfully at its well-equipped and staffed eye-care hospital partners.
The PBL Foundation aims at creating opportunities for all to access to basic human needs - health-care and education in particular -- in which every person enjoys their rights to a life with dignity.
