PBL MD stresses expansion of forex business

Pubali Bank Limited (PBL) organised a seminar at its board room in the city Saturday to increase foreign exchange business of the bank.
Managing Director of the bank Helal Ahmed Chowdhury presided over the seminar.
Chowdhury said though the foreign exchange business increased substantially from previous year, still there is a scope to draw more business in respect of potentiality of the foreign exchange business.
He emphasised the need for exploring and expanding foreign exchange business by maintaining regular contacts with the importers and exporters and applying modern IT solutions in order to keep the pace of advancement of business in the present competitive scenario.
Chief Financial Officer of the bank ATM Hasanuzzaman, Consultant of Securities Trading Division M Rafiqul Islam, Law Consultant Kamaluddin Mia, General Managers of Head Office Mirza Ali Insaf, Mizanur Rahman Molla, M Mustafizur Rahman, Syed Md Masum, AHM Badrul Alam, MA Zubayer, Regional Heads and other senior executives were present at the conference.
