LAHORE, Aug 22 (https://www.dawn.com): The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has a tentative plan to hold the remaining four matches of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) soon after the end of the proposed Zimbabwe tour to the country in October.
It is learnt that as the broadcasters' staff will also be in Pakistan, covering the white-ball internationals against Zimbabwe and most of the foreign players would be playing the Indian Premier League (IPL) in the same month in UAE, the availability of the foreign players would also be easy to travel to Pakistan from India for the four matches.
Initially, the PCB had the plan to start the four matches, just three days after the end of the tour of Zimbabwe team.
The PCB could not hold the last knockout round of the PSL-5 due to Covid-19 pandemic, despite changing the original schedule of play-offs under which four matches were to be played.
