PCJSS leader killed in Rangamati

Two tribal people, including a leader of Parbatya Chattagram Jana Sanghati Samity (PCJSS), were shot dead in an attack by miscreants at Lemuchari in Sadar upazila of Rangamati early Sunday. The deceased were identified as Supriya Chakma, a leader of the PCJSS and a resident of Ananda Bihar area, and Malay Chakma, a resident of Rangapani area. Local sources said a gang of miscreants sprayed around 50 bullets on them leaving the duo dead on the spot at about 2:30 am. Mohammad Rashid, officer-in-charge of Rangamati Police Station confirmed the deaths, according to a news agency.
