PDB worker dies from electrocution in Sherpur

SHERPUR, Oct 05 (BSS): A worker of Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) was electrocuted and two others were injured in Lava area under Nakla upazila of the district on Thursday noon.
The victim was Zahid Hossain, 26, a worker of BPDB and son of Motiur Miah, a resident of Kursabadgour area of the upazila town.
Officer-in-charge of Nakla police station Khan Abdul Halim said they got electric shock while repairing an electric line of PDB in the area.
Zahid died on the spot and two others injured were sent to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.
