PDP worried over polls as voter list not yet ready

It is not clear under which voter list the elections to the four city corporations and nine municipalities will be held on August 4, People's Democratic Party (PDP) said in a press release Saturday.
The Election Commission declared the election schedule Friday.
The press release signed by PDP chairman Mohammad Golam Kibria said, 'Clearly, it is not the old voter list. The new voter list is yet to be completed. The draft voter list has to be published and time has to be given for its correction, if any. Then the final list will be published at a time in the country. These are not yet completed.'
According to the EC schedule, the date for submission of nomination papers is July 3, scrutiny of nomination papers July 6 and 7, withdrawal of candidature on July 13.
