Pedestrian run over by a vehicle

JESSORE, Oct 14: A pedestrian was crushed under the wheels of a vehicle on the Jessore-Magura Highway at around 12:30pm Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Mohammad Ali (62) of Kashimpur of the district.
ASP Faisal of Jessore RAB told the newsmen that one of their patrol vehicle was going to Khajura at noon. At one stage, the vehicle hit a tempo which in turn knocked down a pedestrian killing him on the spot.
Three other people were also injured in the accident.
