People not in good condition: Khaleda

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has greeted diplomats and important personalities on the occasion of Holy Eid-ul-Azha. The former prime minister greeted the eminent personalities on Monday at a reception at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in the city. The reception started around 11am and ended at 12:15pm. Khaleda Zia, also the leader of the 20-party alliance, exchanged Eid greetings with the people from different professions including the diplomats of different countries, political leaders, members of the civil society and journalists. Later, talking to the journalists Khaleda said people of the country ‘are not in good condition. They are not living in comfort and peace.’ She said ‘Movement is not done by fixing date and time. We would call it on time. Hopefully, people of the country will come together with our movement.’ She termed the government ‘corrupt and looter’, urging people to wage movement against it, according to a news agency.
