People strongly support Hasina for trial of war criminals

Bangladesh will be isolated from the world community if the trial of war criminals is not held. Secretary to the government and the secretary general of the BCS Freedom Fighter Officers Employees Association Muhammad Musa said this while he was speaking as chief guest at a discussion on the trial of war criminals arranged by Freedom Fighter Coordination Parishad in the city Saturday, says a press release.
Musa further said, "Pakistan is spending millions of dollars in her bid to foil the trial of the war criminals in Bangladesh. Pakistan is fully aware that when trial will start against Bangladeshi war criminals, the world community will raise their voice all over the world to put Pakistani army officers on trial, who were engaged in genocide in the then East Pakistan in 1971."
He said, "People of Bangladesh strongly support Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for holding trial of the war criminals. People of Bangladesh have been anxiously waiting for last 38 years to see that those who killed 3 million people are hanged on the soil of the country."
The discussion meeting was presided over by Abir Ahad. Abdul Haque Shabuj, publicity secretary of Dhaka city Awami League, Akramuzzaman, vice president of Muktibahini coordination parishad and MA Karim participated in the discussion, among others.
