People to vote for AL in next polls again: Tofail

BHOLA, Jan 10 (BSS): Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed said on Wednesday people will vote for Awami League again in the upcoming general election to continue the country's development.
"The government is sincerely working for the country's development," he said while addressing a blanket distribution programme through a teleconference from the capital.
The blanket distribution programme was held at Charmaisa Union Parishad premises in Bhola.
Tofail, also Awami League Advisory Council member, said the government distributes blankets among poor people every year to minimise their sufferings during winter and also distribute clothes among them ahead of religious festivals.
Around 21,000 blankets were distributed among the cold-hit destitute people of 13 union parishads under Bhola Sadar upazila.
Bhola Zila Awami League general secretary Mainul Hossain Biplob, its joint secretary Enamul Haque Arju, Charmaisa Union Parishad chairman M Mohiuddun and general secretary of Sadar upazila Awami League Nazrul Islam, among others, were present at the blanket distribution ceremony.
