Per capita income stands at $1190 in FY 14

The per capita income of the country reached $ 1190 in FY 14 compared to $ 1044 in FY 13 while the export earnings witnessed an 11.69 percent growth in FY 14. The overall revenue collection showed an 8.35 per cent growth at the end of FY 14 while the foreign currency reserve totalled $ 21.508 billion at the end of FY 14 with a 40.44 per cent growth. This was disclosed by Cabinet Secretary M Musharraf Hossain Bhuiyan after the cabinet meeting Monday. He further said the exchange rate was stable during the last fiscal year while the point-to-point inflation rate came down to 6.97 per cent in FY 14 from 8.06 per cent in FY 13.    — FE Desk
