Petrol bomb attack on Comilla bus: Five burnt

In an ominous rerun of the violence earlier this year, a bus was attacked with a petrol bomb early on Wednesday in Comilla, leaving five passengers burnt, reports bdnews24.com.
The firebombing on the Dhaka-Chittagong Highway at Comilla's Chandina Upazila left three others injured.
Chandina thana Office-in-Charge (OC) Rasul Ahmed Nijami said that the bus was attacked some time after 12:00 am near the Jute Research Institute.
The five who sustained burns were identified as Anjan Dey, Ranjit Sharma and Suman Chandra Debnath from Rangamati, Md Imran of Gopalganj and Jhenidah's Bazlur Rahman.
Dey and Sharma were sent to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital in critical condition. The others were being treated at the Comilla Medical College and Hospital. The bus, heading to Rangamati from Dhaka, caught fire after a few men hurled a petrol bomb at it.
