PGR emerges as independent regiment

The President's Guard Regiment (PGR) has emerged as an independent regiment with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina handing the 'formation sign' over to the elite force. The Prime Minister handed the 'formation sign' over to the PGR's Commandant Brig Gen Maqsudur Rahman at a simple function at her official residence Ganobhaban Thursday. — UNB
