Pharma Fest held at Southeast University with 700 students

The two-daylong Pharma Fest 2025 was inaugurated on Wednesday at the Multipurpose Hall of Southeast University (SEU). Over 700 students from over 40 universities across the country participated at the festival, which serves as a vital platform for pharmacy students in Bangladesh, according to a press statement.
Distinguished guests at the inauguration included Muhammad Halimuzzaman, deputy managing director and CEO of Healthcare Pharmaceuticals Ltd; Mr. Ehsan Aziz, director of Marketing, Incepta Pharmaceuticals, and Professor Dr. Zakir Ahmed Chowdhury, chairman, Department of Pharmacy, University of Dhaka.
The programme was presided over by Professor Dr. Yusuf Mahbubul Islam, vice-chancellor of Southeast University. The session was conducted by Dr. Israt Jahan Bulbul, chairperson and associate professor of the Department of Pharmacy at SEU.
Also present at the event were Professor Dr. Md. Mofazzal Hossain, pro vice-chancellor of SEU; Professor Dr. Dewan Md. Farid, dean of the School of Science & Engineering; Major General Md. Anwarul Islam (Retd.), registrar of SEU; along with corporate leaders, pharmacists, industry experts, researchers, faculty members, alumni, and pharmacy students.
