Pharma industry to help BD earn Asian Tiger status: Mozena

Once again noting that Bangladesh is becoming an Asian Tiger, US Ambassador in Dhaka Dan W Mozena on Tuesday said the country's pharmaceutical industry will play a great role in this regard. He made the remarks while talking to reporters after visiting a pharmaceutical factory at Tongi in the outskirts of Dhaka city. Mozena said Bangladesh is currently producing world-class drugs that are earning reputation at home and abroad. 'It's encouraging,' Mozena said after he went round different floors of the medicine factory and expressed his satisfaction over the quality of drugs being produced there, according to a news agency.
