Phensidyl peddler sentenced

A mobile court headed by Upazila Nirbahi Officer Lalpur and executive magistrate in Natore district Md. Zahirul Islam sentenced one woman phensidyl peddler to 2 years in jail on March 10. Earlier, Lalpur thana police arrested her with 4 bottles of phensidyl and handed her over to a mobile court. The convicted person was identified as Rozina Khatun (25), wife of Kiron of village Old Ishurdi under Lalpur Upazila in Natore district. - Our Correspondent
