Philippine inflation seen within 3-5pc this year

Wednesday, 13 February 2008

MANILA, Feb 12 (AFP): Philippine inflation will remain within the three to five per cent target range for 2008 despite economic pressures, the country's central bank chief said today.
"We are looking at a turtle-back-like inflation trend for the whole year, but the average will still fall within the target of 3-5 per cent," central bank governor Amando Tetangco told foreign correspondents.
