Photo journo Monwar passes away

Veteran photo journalist Monwar Ahmed died at city's Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) early Thursday, says an online news portal.
He was 75.
Monwar Ahmed had been suffering from several diseases, including liver cirrhosis, for the last six months.
He worked for the weekly cinema magazine 'Chitrali' (now defunct) as chief photo journalist.
He left behind his wife and a host of well-wishers to mourn his death.
