Photo show on skill dev opens in city

A three-day photo exhibition titled Skill Development: Creating Jobs, Building Lives was inaugurated at the Drik Gallery in the city Thursday.
Managing Director of AK Khan and Company Limited and Co-Chairperson of the Executive Committee of National Skills Development Council Salahuddin Kasem Khan and Managing Director of Kedarpur Tea Company Limited Laila Kabir jointly inaugurated the exhibition, said a press release.
The exhibition is part of a broader awareness campaign for "Better Business Better Bangladesh" launched by DCCI and BKMEA supported by IFC BICF.
All of the photos in the exhibition showcase how business reforms will improve the skill level of workforce through training programmes, such as computer skills training in schools.
Two young photographers- MM Zahidur Rahman Biplob and Prito Reza have captured the photographs showcasing in the exhibition.
The exhibition is open from 11am to 8pm everyday.
The exhibition is being organised with the support of the IFC Bangladesh Investment Climate Fund, managed and executed by the IFC and funded by the UK Department for International Development and the European Commission.
