Physician burnt to death as bus hits car

KUSHTIA, Aug 11 (UNB): A physician was burnt to death and seven people were injured as a car caught fire following collision with a bus on Kushtia-Ishwardi highway at Baro Mile in Bheramara upazila on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Amirul Islam, 48, residential medical officer of Bheramara Upazila Health Complex and son of Dr. Abul Hossain in the upazila.
Witnesses said the car driven by Amirul caught fire following gas cylinder explosion after Dhaka-bound 'Fatema Paribahan' bus from Kushita hit it around 10 am, leaving Amirul dead on the spot.
