PICL declares 20pc bonus share

Peoples Insurance Company Limited (PICL) declared 20 per cent bonus share in its 25th annual general meeting (AGM) held at the Ladies Club in the city Tuesday, a press release of the company said.
Acting Chairman Nazmul Ahsan Khaled and directors Amir Humayun Mahmud Chowdhury, Nurul Islam Patwari, M Abu Taher, AKM Aminul Mannan, Shahjada Mahmud Chowdhury, Golam Faruk Ahmed, MA Rashid, Md Ali Hossain, Md Farhad Ahmed Akanda, Asif Rahman, Jafar Ahmed Patwari and Managing Director MH Khaled attended the meeting.
A large number of shareholders also attended the meeting. Many shareholders participated in the discussion. They expressed their appreciation for taking appropriate steps in time by the management in running the affairs of the company in last year despite adverse situation. The shareholders also put forward a number of suggestions.
The annual general meeting took a number of important decisions.
