Pinky Sikder wins DHL YES awards

DHL, the world's leading express and logistics company, announced Ms Pinky Sikder has been honored with Bangladesh's first DHL young entrepreneurs for sustainability (YES) award, said a press release.
The three finalists of the DHL YES awards - Pinky Sikder, Ruhi Das and Shah Ahsan Habib were selected by the awards' screening organisation, based on their ability to establish and successfully steer their respective organisations to the benefit of their communities, despite the challenges they faced. Their initiatives were also aligned with one or more of the eight UN Millennium Development Goals - a prerequisite of the DHL YES Awards.
As the national winner, Pinky Sikder will represent Bangladesh in the DHL YES awards regional ceremony also to be held in the city August 30.
