Pioneer Insurance Company holds 27th AGM

The 27th annual general meeting of Pioneer Insurance Company Limited was held on Wednesday through a digital platform. M Anis Ud Dowla, chairman of the company, presided over the meeting. Directors AKM Rahmatullah MP, Tapan Chowdhury, Alamgir Shamsul Alamin, Sylvana Sikder, Sanchia Chowdhury, Parveen Akther, Rozina Afroze, Shafiqul Islam Khan, Lt Col (retd) Muhammad Nazrul Islam Bir Protik MP, M Mokammel Haque, Chief Executive Officer Syed Shahriyar Ahsan and Company Secretary SM Mizanur Rahman as well as shareholders attended the meeting. In 2022 the company earned a premium of Tk 3.11 billion (311.14 crore) and profit after tax of Tk 515 million (51.54 crore). The meeting approved a 30 per cent dividend (25% cash & 5% stock) for the year ended December 31, 2022.
