Pistol seized in Mymensingh

Police seized a foreign made pistol from a goods laden truck at Shekari on Dhaka-Mymensingh Highway in Sadar Upazila of the district yesterday. Acting on a tip off, a team of the police intercepted the Sherpur- bound truck from Dhaka and recovered the Italian made pistol after searching the body one Saddam traveling by the vehicle. The police arrested Saddam and filed a case in this connection with the concerned police station. - BSS
