PKSF signs MoU with PAB for poverty alleviation

Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Practical Action Bangladesh (PAB) to cooperate with each other in the field of poverty alleviation and economic development of the country.
PKSF General Manager (Administration) MA Hakim and PAB Country Director Veena Khaleque signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations in the city Sunday.
According to the MoU, PAB will provide assistance for disseminating information on appropriate pro-poor technology to PKSF for expending its poverty alleviation efforts.
Also present at the signing ceremony were PKSF Deputy Managing Director Parveen Mahmud, Deputy General Manager Fazlul Kader and Manager Gokul Chandra Biswas and PAB Team Leader (Markets and Livelihood Programme) Abdur Rob and Team Leader (Vulnerability Reduction and Natural Resources Management) Mohammed Ali.
PKSF, a 'not for profit' apex microfinance organisation of the country, was established in 1990 to alleviate poverty and improve the quality of life of the poor through the provision of microcredit and other financial and institution building assistance to the organisations implementing microfinance programme.
